Returned by implementations of RetryPolicy. Instructs the driver on what to do about the request after it failed.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)

Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.

RetrySameTarget(Option<Consistency>)

Request will be sent to the same shard on the same host.

RetryNextTarget(Option<Consistency>)

Request will be sent to the next target generated by load balancing policy.

DontRetry

Fails the whole request.

IgnoreWriteError

Will cause the driver to return an empty successful response.
